Kids’ Cooking School One Pan Tomato Pasta

Relive the fun of Kids’ Cooking School Session 1! Try this easy, tasty farm-fresh, healthy recipe at home!

Makes 4 servings


12 oz linguine

12 oz cherry tomatoes halved

1 onion thinly sliced

½ t red pepper flakes (optional)

2T olive oil

4 cloves garlic thinly sliced

2 sprigs basil

Coarse salt

Freshly ground pepper

4 ½ C water

Grated Parmesan cheese for serving.


Put all in a pan (except cheese).  Heat skillet contents to boiling.  Stir often and set timer for

9 min. (times vary if using other types of pasta).  Water should be nearly gone.  Season to taste.

Garnish with grated Parmesan cheese. Enjoy!
